An easy to read guide for not just first time fiction ...

An easy to read guide for not just first time fiction writers, but for experienced authors also. Great
freebies that go with the book, as well as links to tools of the writing trade. Good examples and
clear explanations of fixing plot holes.

The author points out that just knowing what the plot problem is was not enough to fix the problem.
Knowing what caused the plot problem is key to fixing the problem. The book then walks you
through the common mistakes (plot holes) of writing a fiction book and how to correct these mistakes.

This book is a great resource for problem solving for writers!

A toolkit for the swerving writer

Ann Snizek provides a comprehensive toolkit for writers trying to fix their plot holes (potholes).

Not only is her description clear amd comprehensive but she provides actual tips you can implement
now to improve your writing. Her stories illustrate key points without getting too fluffy.

There are some neat writing resources in the book too, which I look forward to trying out with my
classes.

The best thing about Snizek's book is the way she shows you how to cheat the common causes of
plot holes and thus make your writing even more engaging. It's an awesome and unexpected writing
hack, that's for sure.

A great help in defining, refining and streamlining a plot that makes sense.

As you get into the book you find yourself thinking "I knew that!", then you realise that you didn't,
but should have known it because it makes sense, and that's why it seemed familiar.

Lots of pointers which had my mind searching through some plots I have drafted; I found several
places I will be able to improve thanks to this book. It's offers a great way to get thoughts organised
so one doesn't fall into the holes, or how to get out of them and fill them in if you already did.
The links provided are also extremely helpful.

I read through the book twice in one sitting, then again the next day. I will be using it on a regular basis.
